Helper Agreement

Last updated: 16 June 2026

This is a starting-point template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by an Australian legal professional before relying on it in production.

This Helper Agreement applies to you when you offer services as a helper on HomeFold. It is in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Independent provider

You are an independent provider. You are not an employee, partner, or agent of HomeFold. You control how, when, and where you work, set your own prices, and may accept or decline bookings. You are responsible for your own taxes, including any GST obligations, and for any insurance you choose or are required to hold.

2. Verification

  • You agree to complete identity verification.
  • You agree to provide a current National Police Certificate where required.
  • Where you may enter homes with children, you agree to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
  • You confirm that the information and documents you provide are true and current.

3. Service standards

  • Provide services with reasonable care and skill, in the client's home, at the agreed time.
  • Use the equipment and detergent supplied by the client; you are not required to bring your own.
  • Treat clients, their homes, and their belongings with respect.
  • Communicate and arrange bookings through the Platform.

4. Commission and payment

HomeFold charges a platform commission on the value of completed bookings:

  • 15% during your first year on the Platform (from your onboarding date), and
  • 7.5% thereafter.

The applicable rate is calculated at the time of each booking based on your tenure. Where payouts are processed manually, HomeFold deducts its commission before remitting your share. You will be paid for completed bookings, subject to any applicable dispute window.

5. Conduct and safety

You must comply with all applicable laws and HomeFold policies. Attempting to take bookings off-platform, creating fake reviews, or misrepresenting your verification status may result in suspension or removal.

6. Liability

You are responsible for the services you provide. You agree to indemnify HomeFold against claims arising from your services or your breach of this Agreement, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop offering services at any time. HomeFold may suspend or remove helpers who breach this Agreement, fail verification, or receive serious or repeated complaints.
